Do I Need a Home Inspection?

Most, if not all, home sales will require a home inspection. But anyone can book a home inspection at any time. Let us help you find existing and potential issues before they break your bank.

Our Mission

Book with us today and feel confident in your decision. You will receive a full and comprehensive report of all major home systems, full of high quality photos, as well as a summary of observed and potential issues to help you in your buying or selling process.

What is a Home Inspection?

Residential Home Inspection

A Home Inspection is the process by which a home inspector observes and provides a written report of the systems and components of a residential building including but not limited to the heating system, cooling system, plumbing system, electrical system, structural components, foundation, roof, masonry structure, exterior and interior components or any other related residential building component as recommended or required by the New York Department of State through regulation to provide a client with objective information about the condition of the residential building. The home inspector shall clearly identify in the written report which systems and components of the residential building were observed.

Pre-Listing Home Inspection

If you plan on selling your house, a pre-listing inspection may be a good idea to avoid surprises and hang-ups during the selling process. This inspection would be the same process as a regular home inspection and would provide you peace of mind as well as allow you to make cost saving repairs before putting your house on the market.

Additional Services

Radon Testing

Radon is an odorless, invisible, radioactive gas naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. Radon can get into homes and buildings through small cracks or holes and build up in the air. Over time, breathing in high levels of radon can cause lung cancer. With a simple test, we can determine the levels of radon in your home, allowing you to make a more informed decision on mitigation methods or whether or not this is the right home for you.

Testing Is The Only Way To Know If You And Your Family Are At Risk From Radon. EPA And The Surgeon General Recommend Testing All Homes Below The Third Floor For Radon.

Water Quality Testing

Water quality testing is a specialized but simple test that checks a home's water supply for contaminants and pollutants, such as chlorine, lead, and coliform bacteria.  Testing can also reveal chemical imbalances of the pH, and other attributes, such as hardness. Testing ensures that the home's water is potable and safe for everyday use. Water quality testing is highly recommended if your home has a private well.
